Team Guy (ガイ班, Gai-Han) is a team of ninja led by Might Guy.
History[]

This team was formed after Rock Lee, Neji Hyūga, and Tenten graduated from the Academy. They were then placed under Might Guy's supervision. During the team's first meeting, Lee vowed to become a powerful ninja without using ninjutsu or genjutsu. Neji scoffed at the idea, however Guy took a special interest in Lee. He encouraged Lee to continue on this idea and began teaching him powerful forms of taijutsu.
Guy soon noticed that his students were improving and recommended them for the Chūnin Exams. The team together passed the first two phases of the exam and went onto the preliminaries. The first team-mate up was Tenten who was match up with Temari. In the end, she was ultimately defeated. The next team-mate was Neji who was faced up with his cousin, Hinata. Neji defeated Hinata and moved on to the finals. The last was Lee who was faced up against Gaara. Lee also met defeat and in the process, had his left arm and leg crushed by Gaara. In the finals, Neji was match against Naruto Uzumaki. Even though Neji had the upper hand in his battle, he had met defeat due to Naruto's efforts.
After three years had passed, Team Guy took the Chūnin Exams once again. As a result, Lee and Tenten became chūnin while Neji became a jōnin.
Missions[]

Team Guy is sent on a mission to obtain a baumkuchen. They managed to get the voucher for the baumkuchen, however they had arrived too late at the food store, unable to acquire the baumkuchen.

Team Guy was assigned to defeat a woman and her servants.
- Status: Success
Team Guy, under Kakashi's leadership, are sent out to capture missing-nin.
- Guard Duty (Anime only)
- Status: Success
Team Guy are assigned to watch the village entrance to keep anyone suspicious from entering the village. While watching, Orochimaru made an attempt to infiltrate the village and release a new jutsu contained in a sphere. This planned failed as Lee managed to break the sphere before the jutsu was casted inside Konoha.

Team Guy was assigned to protect Tsunade from missing-nin.
- Status: Success
Team Guy was assigned to protect the Fifth Kazekage, Gaara.
Trivia[]
- In the spin-off, Team Guy is referred to as Team Three (第3班, 第三班, Daisanhan). Whether this is canon or not is unknown.
