Chōji Akimichi (秋道チョウジ, Akimichi Chōji) is a supporting character of the series. He is a member of Team Asuma.

Background

It was revealed that Chōji used to be criticized by his classmates in the Academy and was not allowed to join in their games, as he was always on the loosing team. Shikamaru Nara often comforted him and the two eventually became best friends.

Appearance

Choji has spiky brown hair and black eyes. He wears the traditional gray armour plating of his clan, with the kanji for "food" on it. Under his armor, Choji wears a red shirt with gray ends of the sleeves. On each of his cheeks, very pale red swirls are set. Choji wears his forehead protector in its traditional form: on the forehead. His forehead protector also has red cloth.

Personality

Choji and Shikamaru as children.

Choji is a very nice and polite person. However, he stubbornly refused to back down to his teammates when they were fighting over the best chip flavor. However, in the end, Choji began to feel lonely and began to miss his friends. Choji loves to eat food whenever he gets the chance to and he gets very mad when somebody calls him a "fatty", and instead refers to himself as "big-boned".
